The Importance of Kegel Exercises

Many women are familiar with their doctor telling them to get to the gym and workout as we know that it is good for our bodies to exercise. However many women forget to exercise one particular area... their pelvic floor. Your pelvic floor is comprised of a set of muscles that are vital for the maintenance and proper function of your bladder and rectum. These muscles are also involved during sexual intercourse. Please check out the following videos that explain a little more about what these exercises are and how soon they can begin after childbirth.

Of course our advice is to routinely engage in these exercises as part of overall pelvic floor health. Please keep in mind that these exercises are not only for after childbirth but are to be performed throughout the course of your life.  To purchase these pelvic floor exercisers please check here.
